About The Position

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join their team in Edwards AFB, CA. This role involves leading project and program plans, collaborating with U.S. Air Force and internal stakeholders, and serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM). The specialist will be responsible for budget, schedule, and technical scope baselines, developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and supporting proposal activities. Key duties include tracking performance metrics, performing variance analyses, communicating project status and risks to leadership, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and participating in project reviews and audits.

Requirements

  • Active US Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management of the United States Government (USG), Aerospace and/or Department of Defense (DoD) projects
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a role that required strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, coordination, and execution of project and program plans to meet defined objectives
  • Collaborate with U.S. Air Force and internal stakeholders to ensure project plans align with contractual requirements and operational needs
  • Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM), responsible for establishing and maintaining control account baselines including budget, schedule, and technical scope
  • Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and support proposal activities as required
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics; perform cost, schedule, and technical variance analyses
  • Provide timely and transparent communication of project status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive timely execution and effective resource allocation
  • Participate in project reviews and internal/external audits to ensure compliance with company processes and industry standards
