About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a project management representative to join the mission and the Program Management Office (PMO) Team! In this position, you will be executing strategic plans to include space and capacity management, new facility construction, and modernizing onboarding processes. This role will interface with program subject matter experts, facilities teams, and senior leadership presenting status, mitigation and recovery plans. This candidate will join a collaborative, supportive culture where ideas are valued and contributions are visible. Job Description: Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing facility infrastructure projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and leadership. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Evaluates project issues and develops resolutions to meet schedule, cost, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives, driving completion and implementation. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, leadership, and customers. Provides additional support to other PMO roles and responsibilities including event planning and logistics, executive support, developing guidance for onboarding and offboarding activities, and coordination on requirements with key stakeholders as assigned. May require travel a few times a year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 3-10 years equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and proven management skills across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proven relationship builder – with a history of building consensus throughout organizations
  • Effective communicator with ability to drive integration between functions, creating stakeholder alignment
  • Proven self‑starter who works independently and proactively drives results
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration due to security clearance requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience presenting to executive level audiences
  • Prior experience in managing project scope up to $25 Million
  • Background in facilities project management, staffing and capacity management, and facilities space planning/management
  • Experience developing onboarding processes (new employee experience)
  • Current lean six sigma certification with recent execution
  • Long range planning experience
