About The Position

The OrgPMO Lead is a strategic role responsible for establishing, leading, and maturing the enterprise-wide Project Management Office. This individual will drive the standardization of project management methodologies, governance, and processes across the organization to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to project delivery. The lead will oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals, and will be accountable for the governance of the overall success and efficiency of project execution, from initiation to closure. This involves providing a central point of control for project reporting, risk and issue management, and resource allocation. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of success in a senior PMO or program management capacity, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various project management frameworks (such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall) and proficiency with industry-standard PMO tools. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing best practices, managing portfolio-level project tracking and capacity planning, and mentoring project managers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and change management skills are essential for driving adoption and ensuring the PMO's value is realized across the business.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a senior PMO or program management capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in various project management frameworks (such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with industry-standard PMO tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent change management skills.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services.
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts.
  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
