Internships at Reingold are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and graphs.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work independently and efficiently.
- Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details.
- Strong organizational skills, including a reputation for being extremely detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States. We are currently unable to sponsor or to take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
- U.S. citizenship may be required for future project assignments that involve access to classified information.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if required.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of federal travel regulations (FTRs) and per diem.
- Experience with Monday.com.
- Experience reviewing invoices and receipts.
- An interest in government contracting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Research, catalogue, and validate project expenses.
- Assist the project team with travel regulations and policies.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures.
- Ensure quality control for deliverables.
- Collaborate on process improvements across workstream teams and departments.
- Assist the project team with various financial project management tasks.
- Develop financial management tools.
- Support project reporting efforts.
