What You Will Do: In this role, you will assist in various project management activities, gaining exposure to technical and operational aspects of Disney. Your contributions will support the seamless execution of projects that enhance guest experiences and drive business strategies. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Basic understanding of technical topics and awareness of user interface/experience design trends.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles for technical and non-technical partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Upbeat self-starter with initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule and fully available (around 40 hours weekly) from Monday to Friday during typical business hours for the duration of the internship
  • Able to work from the office four days a week and remote one day
  • Able to provide own housing and have reliable transportation to/from work for the duration of your internship in the Burbank, CA area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management processes and software, including agile methodologies.
  • Engagement and familiarity with payment and digital consumer experiences.
  • Knowledge of creating process flows and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Compile requirements and craft user stories for program and platform improvements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and coordinate user access to various systems.
  • Communicate project achievements to key partners.
  • Build and maintain documentation and assist in training efforts.
  • Analyze metrics to tell stories depicting product performances and user experiences.
