About The Position

Are you a motivated student looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry? Auld & White Constructors is looking for Project Management Interns to join our team. As an office-based intern, you’ll work alongside experienced construction professionals, gain exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of project management, and contribute to projects throughout Northeast Florida. If you’re passionate about construction, eager to learn, and ready to gain experience that will help launch your career, we’d love to have you on our team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Building Construction Management or a related field
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager or Manager-in-Training with project startup activities, including updating master schedules, purchase control logs, tracking long-lead materials and equipment, and coordinating pre-bid inquiries
• Assist with the review of project submittals, shop drawings, and product data as directed by the Project Manager
• Assist with preparing and distributing Requests for Information (RFIs), clearly identifying and documenting project issues
• Maintain and update the Project Control Log
• Assist with preparing Change Order Proposals for project scope changes
• Help provide field personnel with the information and documentation needed to support project activities
• Assist with responding to requests and instructions from architects, engineers, and owners related to quality control and correction of deficiencies
• Support project closeout activities, including punch list inspections, closeout documentation, and warranty follow-up
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
