Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking a Project Management Group Leader to lead a group of project management engineers. This role involves supporting high-impact technical projects that address national security challenges, focusing on milestone-driven, high-risk, high-reward projects in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The group collaborates with Principal Investigators and technical experts to deliver results on aggressive timelines within complex scientific and engineering landscapes. The position contributes to a growing portfolio of national security R&D initiatives in areas such as bioengineering, advanced materials and manufacturing, devices and microsystems, and inertial fusion energy. This role emphasizes initiative, autonomy, and leadership in both planning and execution, driving large-scale strategic projects aligned with the Lab’s research and development mission for national security. The position is within the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Processing (AMMP) section of the Materials Engineering Division (MED) in the Engineering Directorate and offers a hybrid schedule with flexibility for remote work.
