About The Position

The Project Management Coordinator supports the execution of the organization's project portfolio by maintaining project documentation, schedules, and status reporting. This position keeps project information current, accurate, and accessible so that project teams and leadership can make timely decisions.

Requirements

  • Six months to two years of related experience.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, AI tools, project tracking tools, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain knowledge with training in BSA Compliance - every staff member is required to uphold the credit union’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Customer Identification Program (CIP), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
  • This includes required BSA reporting.
  • Specific functions such as tellers and front-line staff within Spero Financial will take into consideration the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity that is relevant to the department and report such activity.
  • In addition to any other assigned training courses, BSA, CIP, OFAC and AML related courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and/or Compliance Departments.
  • Required to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, USA Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements.
  • Comply with all Spero policies and procedures to ensure compliance with such regulations.

  • Work involves regular contact with staff and managers across departments to gather information and follow up on commitments.
  • The ability to build cooperative working relationships and communicate clearly in writing is important to success.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains project plans, schedules, and task assignments for assigned projects.
  • Updates plans as directed to reflect changes in scope, timing, or resources.
  • Collects, compiles, and distributes project status information from project team members.
  • Prepares status summaries and maintains organizational project dashboards.
  • Maintains project documentation including charters, requirements, meeting notes, and decision documents in accordance with established project management standards.
  • Coordinates project meeting logistics, helps prepare agendas, captures action items, and follows up with team members on outstanding items.
  • Supports project intake documentation and post-implementation review preparation.
