As a Project Management Co-Op, you'll gain real-world experience while supporting capital projects, plant improvements, and maintenance initiatives that directly impact plant performance and operational success. Students will have opportunities to develop skills in project management and execution, capital project planning and justification, engineering design review and interpretation, construction management and field coordination, cost estimating and budget tracking, vendor and contractor management, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Finance teams, professional presentation, reporting, and communication skills, industrial safety and environmental compliance, and data management and systems improvement. The Project Management Co-Op supports Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Finance teams by assisting with capital spending, plant improvement projects, major outages, and maintenance initiatives across MLC facilities. This role provides hands-on exposure to project lifecycle management, from feasibility studies and planning through execution and closeout.
