About The Position

Depuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Project lead to form part of the VELYSTM Enabling Tech Supply Chain team, reporting to the SI&D Lead, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Raynham, MA. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. The Enabling Tech SC Project lead is responsible for driving and coordinating strategic initiatives and act as the PMO ensuring structured governance, prioritization, and tracking of key initiatives. This role focuses on driving end-to-end transformation to strengthen operational performance. The position requires strong project management capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into executable programs with measurable impact.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant business experience is required.
  • Experience with project and program management processes and tools is required.
  • The ability to collaborate optimally with different levels of management and influence decision-making across a matrix organization is required.

Nice To Haves

  • An Advanced Degree is helpful.
  • Product cost management and budget management preferred.
  • Experience, training, or certification in digital analytics capabilities is preferred.
  • Global business experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage governance structure across key supply chain initiatives
  • Support prioritization, resource alignment, and roadmap development for the platform
  • Ensure transparency through standardized reporting and executive updates
  • Identify interdependencies and proactively manage risks across initiatives
  • Track progress against milestones, KPIs, and value realization targets, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
  • Lead end-to-end execution of platform strategic supply chain projects or workstreams in support to initiatives that will improve financial performance, including COGS reduction and working capital optimization.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, including value stream leaders, operations, finance, procurement, planning, quality and engineering teams
  • Partner closely with Finance to ensure transparency of benefits and tracking of value realization
  • Act as a central connector across functions, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution
  • Influence without authority in a matrixed organization
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Leverage data, metrics, and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Establish dashboards and KPIs to measure initiative performance and impact
  • Apply operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
