About The Position

This role is responsible for managing stakeholder alignment across data engineering, solutions architecture, business process owners, and IT leadership to ensure everyone has an accurate picture of status, risk, and asks. The Project Lead will hold resources from Databricks and systems integration partners accountable to contract scope, timeline, and quality commitments, catching scope creep early. They will design and run the program communication architecture, including status formats, escalation paths, and meeting cadences tailored to the audience. A live risk register covering technical, organizational, and regulatory risks will be maintained, with tested mitigations. The role also involves producing executive briefings that lead with recommendations and close on decisions, and owning the integrated program schedule across internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements

  • 7+ years managing large-scale data platform or systems integration programs
  • Demonstrated vendor management experience in a SOW/fixed-deliverable model
  • Regulated industry experience (medical device, pharma, or financial services)
  • Executive-level communication
  • Must be local to Mounds View, MN or the greater Twin Cities metro area

Nice To Haves

  • Databricks medallion architecture, Delta Lake, or data lakehouse migration experience
  • Data platform fluency: Oracle (source), Databricks (target), ETL/ELT and event-driven integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Informatica IICS, webMethods, or comparable integration middleware
  • Experience with a medical device regulated environment
  • PMP, Agile or equivalent certification
  • Project status updates using Planisware / enterprise PPM tool
