About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing the servicing, installing, maintaining and inspecting of security systems. Ensure that all systems and components are maintained according to industry standards and the operational requirements of the customer. Ensure the installation and service technicians are effectively and efficiently performing their duties and tasks.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in the security industry.
  • A high school education or equivalent required.
  • Requires the ability to act in a lead capacity and manage teams or groups of individuals on projects.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Some technical school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team of installation and security service technicians.
  • Ensure technicians arrive to job sites on-time and in accordance with their assigned service and/or installation assignment.
  • Closely monitor technician performance on service calls, service, and installation.
  • Carefully review specific department reports to ensure proper and efficient methods are being followed.
  • Install security systems or appropriate devices, dismantle and/or reconstruct equipment as required by customer or the Company.
  • Conduct testing and inspection of systems under maintenance agreement.
  • Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Make connections and required adjustments as directed, test operation of all components of each system.
  • Conduct site surveys upon request of management.
  • Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
  • Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.
  • Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service).
  • Write service and status reports.
  • Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner. Obtain proper signatures. Accurately record travel and service times, timesheets, identify warranties, changes and code issues and provide accurate descriptions.
  • Ability to work independently on customer sites
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
