About The Position

Our Project Folder Coordinators play a key role in supporting our Project Management team and ensuring project information is accurate and accessible. They manage and maintain the virtual project folder site, ensuring project information remains accurate and up to date. They also create, organize, and maintain project folders in accordance with Kirby Risk Project Management standards. Additionally, they monitor project billing activity, vendor invoices, and change orders to help ensure accurate customer and vendor billing. They track project milestones, including submittals, shipping dates, and factory promise dates, while communicating updates to customers and internal stakeholders. They provide timely project status updates and reporting to account managers, inside sales teams, and management. They also identify and report upcoming project opportunities through resources such as Dodge Reports and collaborate across departments to ensure customer needs are met and projects remain on schedule. They represent Kirby Risk professionally in all interactions with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.

Requirements

  • College-level coursework or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical products sales, project coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and customer service skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new business software and systems
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement

Responsibilities
