About The Position

The Project Expeditor is generally responsible for working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates are met in support of the overall project and construction schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting vendor data status, fabrication status, recovery plans, and shipping information to the project team and the end user. This work will be performed under general supervision. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Familiarity with and utilization of department - Developing and maintaining supplier/contractor Interpreting project schedules and fabrication schedules. Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data and Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates. Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
• Knowledge and application of company
• Ability to organize
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to negotiate
• Working knowledge of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS).
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
