This role will cover the entire Carolinas and can be either hybrid, based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, or remote but based in North Carolina. The Project Executive is concerned with the larger picture of a portfolio of projects, including monitoring the strategic program, project goals, and project performance on our most complex and high-value projects. Requirements

  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, construction management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Project Executive, or similar role, preferably within security integration or adjacent industries

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree or professional certification in project management is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies regarding project/job estimating, measurable customer acceptance criteria, customer hand off from sales to delivery and change control management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project teams in executing project plans effectively and efficiently. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, and manage any changes or deviations that may arise. Maintain open lines of communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Establish strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external vendors or contractors. Identify stakeholders' needs, expectations, and concerns. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues promptly and effectively. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources required for project execution, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Work closely with department heads and resource managers to ensure the availability and optimal utilization of resources. Monitor resource allocation and make adjustments, as necessary.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control. Monitor project expenses, track budget variances, and implement corrective actions when needed. Ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints while maintaining quality and meeting client requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Proactively monitor and address potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and contingency planning.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards. Conduct regular quality reviews, perform inspections, and verify compliance with project specifications and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and key performance indicators to stakeholders and senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management reports.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Provide training, guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
