About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Project Execution Manager to help support our DISA J6 Enterprise Transport Management - Next-Gen (DISA J6 ETM-NG) program located in Arlington, VA. This role serves as the primary point of contact and escalation for assigned projects, responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Execution Manager will maintain project documentation, ensure status, risks, and issues are up-to-date, and proactively inform the government project manager. This position provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management, and supervises assigned project staff. The role involves developing technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order reporting, as well as reviewing future project requirements and developing strategies for future work. The Project Execution Manager will also perform high-level technical services, conduct planning, provide recommendations to clients on task workload, attend customer meetings, serve as the primary client liaison, interact with vendors and other agencies, and coordinate the development and ensure the quality assurance of project deliverables. Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology and participating in special projects are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT, infrastructure, networking projects.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Current PMP certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated MS Project, Excel and Word experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with scope, schedule and budget management.
  • US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and point of escalation for assigned projects.

  • Supervise assigned project staff.
