About The Position
Petro Service Limited is seeking a Project Estimator to join their Construction team in Saskatoon, SK. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for petroleum construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements. The Project Estimator will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver timely, profitable quotations and support project management activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimating or construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Nice To Haves
- College/University diploma in Business or related field preferred.
- advanced Excel and ERP systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and manage quotation requests from customers.
- Review RFQ documentation, project scope, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare accurate quotes based on tender documents and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams and technical specialists to ensure bid compliance.
- Enter and manage quote data using ERP tools (e.g., GP, Quadra).
- Follow up on submitted bids and assist in post-bid reviews.
- Maintain documentation for auditing and future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and vendor updates.
