About The Position

As our Project Engineering Planner Scheduler, you will develop and maintain project and engineering schedules that support manufacturing operations, customer commitments, and successful execution of project work scope. Working closely with Weld and Manufacturing Engineering teams, project stakeholders, vendors, and customers, you will coordinate priorities, track progress, and help ensure deliverables are planned and completed effectively.

Requirements

  • University or college education in Engineering, Materials, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Planner Scheduler or similar project scheduling role.
  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with complex project data and schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams.

  • Experience with P6 or similar scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using P6 or similar scheduling tools to support manufacturing and customer commitments.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Manufacturing, Weld Engineering, Source Assurance, and Project Management teams to establish timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Create engineering deliverable plans aligned with fabrication schedules, project milestones, and customer requirements.
  • Track project progress, analyze schedule impacts, and identify critical path activities, risks, and potential delays.
  • Develop recovery plans and recommend strategies to maintain project schedules and support on-time delivery.
  • Prepare project reports, lookahead plans, and schedule updates to support decision-making and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage resource planning by ensuring engineering activities, assigned resources, and budgeted hours align with project requirements.
  • Track engineering documentation, non-conformances, requisitions, and material readiness to support project execution.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling reviews, working with teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve workflow.
  • Support change management activities by incorporating approved scope changes into project schedules.
