Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university – Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management Degree.
  • Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and smartphones.
  • Should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who has a passion for collaboration and professional development.
  • You should be able to always lead by example and be able to listen and follow all instructions provided by the PM team.

  • Must be able to travel within the United States up to 60% of the time. This includes the ability to accommodate last minute travel requests depending on project scope and needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large-scale, non-residential construction projects is preferred.
  • May also require working knowledge of scheduling applications.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment or experience in the construction rental equipment industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating equipment rentals across multiple projects.
  • Evaluate quotes and proposals from strategic rental partners to determine the most competitive pricing and favorable lead times.
  • Audit monthly invoices received from strategic rental partners.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the coordination and scheduling of the construction management activities on projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic rental partners, subcontractors, project management teams, and field personnel.
  • Update and submit weekly rental reports.
  • Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records.
  • May coordinate proposal and bid package information or coordination of document release.
  • Conduct research then compiles statistical reports.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving, and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings with strategic rental partners.
  • Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
