About The Position

DZYNE Technologies is seeking a talented Project Engineer to support ongoing and emerging federal defense and commercial contracts. This role requires an individual who can develop processes and work within defined procedures, including government requirements. The successful candidate will have experience interfacing with internal disciplines, customers, and subcontractors. Demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management is desired. A background in projects within the Government or Defense Contracting Industry is expected.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 - 5 years of industry experience directly supporting or leading project execution of design, development, manufacturing, or operations programs.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude and talent/experience leading people and cultivating healthy relationships.
• Pro-active approach to solving problems.
• Ability to work under general direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Skilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in defense or aerospace industries.
• Understand, follow, and build operational processes.
• Experience in enterprise resourcing and planning tools.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and internal work groups.
• Experience with CAD software and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support existing project managers and lead technical engineers in the successful execution of their respective projects, including project financials, project & program deliverables, and team task/labor tracking and management.
• Communicate project health and status to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow and help execute technical schedules.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Analyze and interpret technical data to inform project decisions.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate technical work, and obtain cooperation from others.
