About The Position

Under mentorship, the Project Engineer will work on small capital projects, becoming familiar with estimating, scheduling, and revising forecasts for plant-executed projects within SAP. The role may involve participating in process hazard reviews and ORI’s, performing field verification of equipment, and ensuring compliance with client quality standards. The Project Engineer will also participate in the Safety Program in alignment with client safety guidelines and attend Safety Kickoff Meetings with contractors and the operations team prior to project execution.

Requirements

  • B.S., Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to track and report on assigned projects.
  • Familiar with tools such as SAP.
  • Ability to coordinate with all disciplines, construction personnel as well as vendor personnel.
  • Must be able to travel 25-40%.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.
  • Must be physically able to conduct field trips to review equipment and engage with personnel.
