About The Position

We have a customer in Denver, Colorado who has an IMMEDIATE long-term DIRECT HIRE opening for a Project Engineer with experience in the design and development of large bulk material handling equipment. In this role you will be involved in leading a team of Mechanical and Structural Engineers and Designers/Drafters to develop large conveyors, crushers, screens, tanks, pipes, foundations, platforms, beams, supports, etc. for mining and related equipment. You will lead and coordinate project staffing requirements and oversite, maintain schedules and budgets, provide reports on project status, reviews of expenditures, customer contact, vendor coordination and mentoring of Junior Engineers. This position must be worked full-time on-site at company facility in Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited University.
  • 5 years+ experience in Project Management working with heavy large bulk material handling, mining or similar equipment.
  • Strong background in Project management including coordinate project staffing requirements and oversite, maintain schedules and budgets, provide reports on project status, reviews of expenditures, customer contact, vendor coordination and mentoring of Junior Engineers.
  • Experience with AUTOCAD 2D/3D, Advance Steel, RISA-3D or similar.
  • Experience with AISC.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
