About The Position

Monitors and assists ship design development, execution, and changes across all Engineering departments. Ensures that ship designs meet all external and internal customer performance requirements.

Requirements

College graduate with bachelor's degree, Engineering or related field preferred.
Skills in project coordination and facilitation.
Skills in planning, scheduling, and cost control techniques.
Professional business skills, including organization in execution of administrative tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the interpretation of Ship Specifications and related project requirements documentation.
Communicate and defend engineering scope with internal and external stakeholders.
Collect, monitor, and analyze program cost, schedule, and control data.
Lead and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate tracking, analysis, and response to programmatic and engineering issues.
Prepare presentations and white papers for senior leadership, as needed.
Assist in development of contract drawings, engineering reports, and other required deliverables.
Track, scope, and execute design changes with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in identification and resolution of technical problems.
Review, file, and distribute technical correspondence with customer.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
