We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Charlotte regional office, with the role based full-time in Louisville, KY.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the commercial construction field, ideally including multifamily, paired with a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
A working understanding of construction cost accounting.
Computer skills required: Procore, scheduling software (P6 preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong proficiency using the Procore project management system.

Nice To Haves

Ability to develop and maintain schedules in P6 is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Working closely with PMs and Superintendents on the day-to-day operations of construction sites.
Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
Working with submittals, RFIs, and change management.
Assisting in contract buyouts.
Working with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Developing project schedules and phasing plans.
Attending and documenting project meetings.
Supporting projects with exposure to multifamily construction environments.
