About the Role As a Project Engineer, you’ll be the hub that keeps the project team moving—handling documentation, cost tracking, scheduling support, and on‑site coordination. Success means juggling multiple tasks, keeping meticulous records, and thriving under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to read plans, specs, and shop drawings; strong understanding of construction means & methods.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; working knowledge of Procore, Prolog, and MS Project is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or 1–3 years of experience on commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with job‑cost accounting and document‑control software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in day‑to‑day site management to ensure schedule and quality goals are met.
  • Manage the RFI and submittal process from creation through close‑out.
  • Process owner billings, track job‑cost codes, and resolve project‑related accounting items.
  • Maintain daily logs, progress photos, material procurement logs, change orders, and close‑out documents.
  • Help create and update project schedules (MS Project preferred).
  • Coordinate subcontractor insurance, bonds, and compliance paperwork.
  • Support project safety by attending daily huddles and documenting inspections.
