A project engineer works with multiple departments to ensure all aspects of a project are carried out according to internal standards. The project engineer ensures all work is accomplished according to schedule, the partnering departments and teams are completing their assignments according to schedule, the budget is allocated for, and the expenditures are accounted for. This role is supportive of programs with a Program Manager and contributes oversight of projects, evaluating and supporting the cost impact of engineering changes and scope modifications.
