About The Position

As a Project Engineer at Thermosystems, you will be a technical resource on a sales team putting together HVAC equipment selections, proposals, and submittals. You’ll work on a fast-paced applied sales team assisting mechanical design engineers and contractors in the design and execution of HVAC projects for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. Thermosystems provides a comprehensive training program covering HVAC fundamentals and product specific training for new team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and general computer software/applications.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering or related discipline) is required.
Proven experience in an engineering role
2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry preferred

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Bluebeam a plus.

Responsibilities

Generate accurate cost estimates and proposals for HVAC equipment and related systems
Analyze plans, specifications, and other construction documentation to prepare proposals
Assist the sales team with HVAC equipment selections for engineers and contractors in professional and timely manner
Prepare technical documentation for equipment selections/submittals
Learn and stay current on HVAC products and applications
Develop relationships with application engineers, vendors, and customers
Ability to collaborate in team-driven environment
All other duties assigned.
