As a Project Engineer, you will plan, develop, coordinate and execute Engineering projects with the final objective of improving Operations performance (safety, productivity, quality, compliance, innovation, etc.) in line with CBN. ‘Day to Day’

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical)
  • 5+ years professional experience in Technical / Engineering departments and / or in working managerial position in other function
  • Strong project management experience
  • AM, PM, FI and WPI knowledge – L1 experience is a plus
  • Strong Excel Skills, MS Project
  • Autocad
  • Safety Management
  • Fluent English (oral and written)

Nice To Haves

  • Formal education in PMPM is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, check and approve work requests within defined timelines and resources.
  • Perform project execution in accordance with the stipulated safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform safety risk assessment and eliminate identified risks accordingly together with contractors.
  • Guarantee the quality of current and new initiatives via continuously updated methods and qualification standards to introduce new product/processes in line with PMI quality standards, and to deliver expected quality via a competent and adequate qualification process.
  • Contribute to the right specs definition to meet Customer expectations for new products (Prototyping / Industrialization).
  • Proactively interact with all internal and external customers to continuously maintain updated knowledge of customer expectations in terms of quality.
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities considering to risk assessment.
  • Develop, control and co-ordinate the flow of entire project documentation, filing and storage system and technical archive activity to meet legal and PMI requirements.
  • Prepare technical documents.
  • Check for completeness and accuracy to support the activities of the project and department.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to steering committee on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly).
  • Manage all project funds according to budget, according to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
