About The Position

As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. And when your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering teams. We’ll appreciate your creative, solutions-oriented approach, your solid technical know-how, your impressive teamwork skills, your proactive collaboration, and the way we can count on you to get things done - and get them done well. In this role, you will participate as a member of a project team comprised of Project Management, Buyers, Customer Service, and other cross-functional partners to successfully complete conveyor and material handling projects. You will own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules and budgets and tracking engineering change orders. You will lead conversations and drive results with vendors and other suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs. You will review customer specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the design process. You will provide technical support throughout the engineering process. You will use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with external vendors, and obtain customer approvals. You will check drawings produced by others for accuracy. You will validate handshakes and data exchange between multiple automation solutions to ensure successful integration within the overall system design. This job description is not exhaustive. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and responsibilities may evolve to support the business and employee experience.
