ARM Group is seeking a Project Engineer who will assist with the management of planning, design, permitting and construction oversite of multi-disciplined projects to include non-coal mining and quarry related projects, post construction stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control planning. The successful candidate will possess an “ownership mentality” and be a highly motivated, resourceful, well-organized, and collaborative engineer that is able to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets. ARM’s team is comprised of a diverse, talented, and hard-working group of individuals committed to growing both our business and these industries. The position will require a working knowledge of civil and environmental engineering best-practices with a focus on identifying, communicating, and solving engineering and permitting challenges that may impact a project’s overall feasibility, cost, or constructability. In addition to early-stage due diligence and engineering coordination, the position will also require project management responsibilities including: local on-site support involving interfacing with regulators and other officials to support permit approvals; communicating with clients on technical issues or concerns; performing engineering calculations; preparing detailed designs, interconnection coordination; construction administration, budget management, and QA/QC of projects in construction.
