Requirements

  • Project Engineer - 2 to 7 years of experience managing technical projects, or business issues requiring deep technical understanding of underlying product.
  • Sr. Project Engineer - 7+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to project and program management in a technical environment; strong analytical and business acumen with a working understanding of finance.
  • Excellent documentation, organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects through complete cycle in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform detailed financial and technical analysis.
  • BS degree in engineering discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interface as required with other disciplines including marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and customers as required to exchange information, resolve problems, and achieve results
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet the customers’ electrical, environmental and internal manufacturing requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with other engineering departments and coordinate their specialized contributions to the development of the project
  • Provide technical support for the engineering process, plan and design methods to improve production processes
  • Prepare schedules and cost estimates on the engineering efforts required
  • Direct functional, acceptance, qualification, or development testing on new or modified designs
  • Function as technical interface for customers, assist customer with specification development
  • Translate customer specification; generate design documentation required for prototype and/or production releases as needed
  • Review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
