About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer I to assist, support, and collaborate in the safe, profitable management and execution of a project. The candidate will work with their assigned project manager to help achieve their respective project management objectives.
Requirements
- BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study
- Entry-level to four years of industry tenure
- Field-based project execution experience
- Knowledge of route surveying and scheduling
- Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Certification
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

- Viewpoint experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project execution strategies
- Maintain and communicate various project performance metrics and analytics
- Provide leadership and support to functional area managers
- Support forecasting and reporting
- Act as a liaison between the superintendent and the subcontractors to coordinate material delivery dates by analyzing the schedule and required installation dates.
- Construction engineering
- Work with subcontractors and vendors
- Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stakeholders
- Market and promote the Superior Construction brand
- Assist with the leadership and development of team members
- Foster and maintain a safe work environment
