About The Position

Elmington Construction is a Nashville-based general contractor and construction management company providing comprehensive residential and commercial services with a partnership approach. We specialize in affordable and multi-family housing and have completed 36 projects with 17 more under construction in states across the US. Responsibilities

  • Learns & understands Elmington's safety standards
  • Learns project startup requirements and assists as needed
  • Assists in updating of project schedule
  • Assists in managing submittal process and material procurement
  • Assists in managing RFI process and tracking log
  • Assists in creating and managing other tracking logs such as concrete, stone, lumber, etc
  • Assists in prioritizing and expediting material deliveries according to project schedule requirements
  • Assists with financials of project including subcontractor PCOs, job cost reports, and vendor invoices
  • Assists with job closeout tracking/documentation process
  • Assists in taking meeting minutes for subcontractor and OAC meetings. Assists with the preparation and distribution of all meeting materials including the agenda, minutes, action items, etc
  • Assists in project coordination meetings
  • Learns EC policy and processes and demonstrates adherence to those processes
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
