About The Position

CoolSys is seeking a Project Engineer to manage energy projects from proposal through engineering, installation, and commissioning. Projects include cogeneration units, standby generators, and energy systems for critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, and industrial plants. The role manages several projects at once and combines mechanical and electrical design, field coordination, client and vendor communication, and oversight of installation and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in project engineering or project management in energy or power generation.
• AutoCAD skills.
• Technical writing skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and other project parameters across several projects simultaneously.
• Perform mechanical and electrical design, select equipment, complete calculations, and coordinate with outside engineers as needed.
• Create layouts, one-line diagrams, and P&IDs using AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
• Maintain contact with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field technicians.
• Oversee installation, startup, and commissioning, ensuring work complies with safety rules and codes.
