This role focuses on advanced project development under the guidance of Project Engineering Management and upper management. The Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables. This includes coordinating project activities with relevant departments and suppliers, communicating progress to customers and UIC Management, and procuring costs and lead times from vendors for products, making purchase orders as needed. The position also involves ensuring yearly budget restraints are maintained, proposing new purchases, and assisting with product development and communication with USUI Japan R&D Sales/Manufacturing/Quality. Additionally, the role requires creating work instructions, implementing training for supervisors and operators on new projects, entering new parts information into the UIC ERP (PLEX) system, arranging for prototype parts, and conducting packaging studies and proposals for customers.
