Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of tasks/responsibilities related to John Deere PDP Manufacturing Design and Quality Integration lanes.
  • Competency in tech stack tools such as SAP, MPP, & PDM. (MRP/ERP - Mfg Process Planning Software - Parts Management/CAD Modeling)
  • Experience in development of tooling and equipment procurement.
  • Working knowledge of assembly torque and vision tools.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Nice To Haves

  • Data analysis and ability to formalize reports/information.
  • Understanding of capital procurement and proven project management skills.
  • Practice in risk management skills including D/S/P FMEA and SERA.
  • Knowledge and practice of Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing and quality engineering work for Greeneville EPDP.
  • Contribute to the design of engineering solutions.
  • Design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.
  • Develop safe, high‑quality, and efficient assembly processes for new product programs.
  • Support factory initiatives on outcomes of strategic planning as required.
