We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their portfolio of assets. We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of consulting and engineering to installation and commissioning, to the last stages of decommissioning and remediation. Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects. The Project Engineer – Chemicals & Fuels typically manages multiple small projects, a single medium project, or a defined portion of a large or mega project supporting chemicals, fuels, refining, and petrochemical facilities. This role is primarily focused on brownfield and operating-facility projects, including revamps, debottlenecking, regulatory-driven capital work, and reliability or operability improvements. The Project Engineer works with multi‑disciplinary and multi‑location teams to develop and deliver technically sound, safe, and executable solutions aligned with customer objectives, regulatory requirements, and Worley standards. Purpose: The Project Engineer – Chemicals & Fuels is responsible for coordinating engineering execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety for assigned projects. The role bridges the technical and execution gap between the Project Manager and the engineering disciplines and often functions as an Assistant Project Manager with a strong engineering foundation. This position ensures that engineering work is planned, executed, and delivered in accordance with customer contracts, operating‑facility requirements, regulatory obligations, and Worley policies, procedures, systems, and tools. The Project Engineer provides day‑to‑day technical leadership, supports execution decision‑making, and ensures engineering deliverables are fit‑for‑purpose for construction, commissioning, and operations.
