About The Position

Muller is a full-service Site Work Contractor based in Northern Virginia. Our unique technology and systems-driven approach has led us to become a leading provider of sustainable civil construction services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and DC. The Project Engineer will work on 1-2 job sites daily (depending on size) to ensure various project management tasks are completed. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to interpret blueprints, and comfort with technology for tracking and documentation.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret project drawings and identify what is included within our scope of work.
Comfortable using a computer on a daily basis to track, document, and manage items and activities on site.
Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions when faced with unique or unexpected tasks that fall outside the norm.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with Excel, Bluebeam, Word, Teams
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Responsibilities

Quantity tracking on site (verifying feet of pipe installed, loads hauled out/in, loads placed for a fill operation). Alerting the PPOC if estimated quantities are exceeded.
Recognizing and reporting potential change order work on site to the PPOC.
Tracking project delays daily (weather, surveying stakeout, interference from other trades, etc.).
Ensuring all foremen submit daily plans in a timely manner for PPOC review.
Ordering materials needed for the foreman/super.
Ensuring subcontractors perform their scope of work correctly, confirming their crew size and productivity.
Reviewing the schedule weekly with PPOC and site super to ensure the project is on schedule.
