The Project Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of systems related to the audio-visual requirements of a project. The role involves collaboration with clients, Project Managers, and related technical teams to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions. Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage moving from one task to another
• Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems
• Ability to learn new knowledge, skills, and abilities
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and under direction
• Office 365 / SharePoint / Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD
• Operate personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software

Nice To Haves

• CTS Certification preferred, willingness to pursue CTS-I and/or CTS-D

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers and Clients to define requirements and ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct site surveys and work closely with installation teams to ensure system compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including system drawings, equipment lists, and technical manuals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed AV systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
• Assist in training end-users and Clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Be well-spoken with demonstrably clear understanding of AV technology, including notable manufacturers, such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.
