Project Engineer

About The Position
This position requires an analytical thinker who produces high quality work. The Project Engineer will be the expert in the field and be able to work independently as well as coordinate a team of drafters. Must be able to work on multiple projects while maintaining accuracy. The role involves designing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent of work experience
- 3D modeling experience required
- Microsoft Office knowledge required
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate with all departments including management
Nice To Haves
- Risa or Ansys FEA software a plus
Responsibilities
- Review structures and make recommendations
- Design new structures including foundations
- Product development for new sign technology
- Benchmark competitor’s products
- Research new technology and recommend how to use in signs
- Other duties as assigned
