About The Position

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an intern Project Engineer willing to work in its corporate office in Tampa, Florida. The position supports Project Engineers and Project Managers in planning, organizing, and completing projects within an assigned area of responsibility. Duties may include reviewing plans and contractor bids, data entry, helping maintain a safe and clean working environment, and assisting with daily project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with project planning, organization, and completion within an assigned area.
• Review project plans and confer with management.
• Review contractor bids.
• Help maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Complete data entry.
• Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks and duties.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
