About The Position

This opportunity is exclusive to U.S. military members currently serving on active duty and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program. This is not a civilian or student internship. The Project Engineer supports the Project Manager with the administration of project cost and scheduling systems and supports estimating functions for changes and addenda. This role manages document control and shop drawing systems and helps ensure the smooth flow of information between the design team, consultants, and subcontractors. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrate interest in construction management or the construction industry
• Have served at least 180 days on active duty
• Be eligible to participate during the final six months of military service prior to separation or retirement
• Be expected to receive an honorable discharge
• Have completed the Transition Assistance Program (TAP/TGPS)
• Have attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
• Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of the internship
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Microsoft Project
