Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
4+ years of experience in Municipal engineering or related field
PE license in TX and/or OK, or the ability to obtain their license within six months
Functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Responsibilities

Manage the design of municipal projects, delivering high-impact solutions to clients.
Monitor task progress, delegate responsibilities, and manage deliverables to meet deadlines and budgets.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the company to produce high-quality, client-focused results.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Perform design-related tasks including 3D modeling, calculations, cost and quantity estimates, and plan development.
Contribute to the preparation of proposals, project budgets, schedules, and public involvement efforts.
Ensure adherence to internal and client standards, processes, and quality expectations.
Troubleshoot design or construction challenges and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
Attend client meetings and provide updates on project scope, progress, and technical issues.
Maintain accurate project records and document design decisions.
Contribute to proposal writing, scope development, and fee estimates for new projects.
Identify opportunities for additional services or follow-up work with existing clients.
Support and mentor graduate engineers and technicians, helping foster their technical and professional growth.
