Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater

Verdantas is seeking a Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater to join their team in the Folsom, CA office. In this role, the engineer will lead and support a variety of Civil and Water Wastewater resource planning and design tasks. Requirements
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain registration within 1 year
- 4-7 years of experience in the civil engineering field, specifically on Water/Wastewater projects
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
Nice To Haves
- Potable water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks) desired
- Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipeline and lift stations) desired
- Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling) desired
Responsibilities
- Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
- Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
- Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
- Prepare technical reports and memoranda
- Demonstrated communication skills to communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers in various communication formats
