In this role, the engineer will lead and support a variety of Civil and Water Wastewater resource planning and design tasks. Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain registration within 1 year
  • 4-7 years of experience in the civil engineering field, specifically on Water/Wastewater projects
  • Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D

Nice To Haves

  • Potable water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks) desired
  • Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipeline and lift stations) desired
  • Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling) desired

Responsibilities

  • Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
  • Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
  • Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
  • Prepare technical reports and memoranda
  • Demonstrated communication skills to communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers in various communication formats
