About The Position

Manage supply chain activities supporting Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) projects across global drivetrain value streams. Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of product changes. Monitor and communicate the impact of active and upcoming CPI projects on the supply chain. Develop phase-in/phase-out plans for components while minimizing scrap, rework, and operational disruptions. Manage service letter inventory requirements and work with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues. Track and report component and machine serial number effectivity dates. Create, maintain, and consolidate reports, dashboards, and visualizations for project tracking and decision-making. Collaborate with operations, depot supply chain analysts, and product support teams to drive process improvements and supply chain efficiency. Facilitate and manage Part Stocking Requests (PSRs) and Inventory Stocking Requests (ISRs). Serve as the Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and best practices to project teams and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective supply chain solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in project management, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, processes, and terminology.
• Experience with project coordination and cross-functional project execution.
• Knowledge of inventory management, material planning, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard/visualization tools.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and business systems.
• Ability to analyze supply chain impacts and drive effective solutions.
• Experience managing component phase-in/phase-out activities and inventory effectiveness.
• Knowledge of process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to consolidate, track, and communicate project metrics and performance data.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Product Support teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and risk management skills.

• Familiarity with supply chain and manufacturing systems in a global production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations functions.
• Experience supporting Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) or similar process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain activities supporting Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) projects across global drivetrain value streams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain coordination and project implementation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, operations, and product support teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and manage component phase-in and phase-out plans to minimize scrap, rework, and supply chain disruptions.
• Track, monitor, and communicate project effectivity dates, inventory requirements, and supply chain impacts.
• Manage service letter inventory requirements and resolve supply-related issues with cross-functional teams.
• Obtain and maintain component and machine serial number effectivity information.
• Create, analyze, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making and project tracking.
• Facilitate and manage Inventory Stocking Requests (ISR) and Part Stocking Requests (PSR).
• Provide supply chain expertise, guidance, and best practices to project teams and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support risk management activities and ensure smooth execution of supply chain initiatives across multiple facilities and stakeholders.
