Requirements

  • Experience managing projects with Process and Utility Piping Systems for food process industry.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Process and Utility Piping Systems using 2D and 3D software.
  • Create manufacturing drawings and schedules.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical degree preferred
  • Applicable industry experience
  • Experience with Procore – Project Management Software
  • OSHA 30

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to gather technical requirements for industrial process and utility piping projects.
  • Develop installation design packages including floor plans, piping layouts, equipment placement, and system elevations.
  • Ensure all engineering designs meet applicable codes, safety standards, and company best practices.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure installations follow engineered designs and project specifications.
  • Provide daily technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams during installation.
  • Review field conditions and make real-time engineering decisions to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Identify design changes due to field conditions and support documentation for scope changes and change orders.
  • Conduct final inspections, develop as-built drawings, and support project closeout and customer turnover.
