Requirements

Experience managing projects with Process and Utility Piping Systems for food process industry.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Process and Utility Piping Systems using 2D and 3D software.
Create manufacturing drawings and schedules.
Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check

Mechanical degree preferred
Applicable industry experience
Experience with Procore – Project Management Software

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to gather technical requirements for industrial process and utility piping projects.
Develop installation design packages including floor plans, piping layouts, equipment placement, and system elevations.
Ensure all engineering designs meet applicable codes, safety standards, and company best practices.
Work closely with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure installations follow engineered designs and project specifications.
Provide daily technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams during installation.
Review field conditions and make real-time engineering decisions to keep projects moving efficiently.
Identify design changes due to field conditions and support documentation for scope changes and change orders.
Conduct final inspections, develop as-built drawings, and support project closeout and customer turnover.
