About The Position

We are seeking a Project Engineer, Packaging & Crating, reporting to the Team Lead – Vehicle Engineering (VCC). In this role, you will directly contribute to our company’s success by driving innovation and the continuous improvement of our products. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). English is required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or with English-speaking counterparts on a daily basis, and to read documentation available only in English
Possess strong project management skills and the ability to influence project direction
Knowledge of or curiosity to learn about the principles of mechanics, tolerancing, and materials strength
Strong ability to learn and adapt
Excellent collaboration skills and outstanding team spirit
Available for occasional travel to our various manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in product development by designing vehicle transportation solutions from early concept through to production.
Design packaging structures that enable vehicles to be transported through our distribution network.
Collaborate with vehicle development, production, procurement, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as with suppliers, at every stage of the product development process.
Contribute to establish the performance criteria, develop validation plans, and oversee their implementation.
Develop the vision guiding the development of crafting systems for upcoming new platforms.
