We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that directly impact how our products are made, scaled, and delivered. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own projects end-to-end—from concept through to commissioning—within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar)
  • 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial construction, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders at once
  • Strong communication skills—you can translate technical details into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience with capital projects (ideally up to ~$2M), including contractor coordination and procurement
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, safety, and quality

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards is an asset
  • P.Eng (or working toward it) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of capital projects—from planning and design through to execution and commissioning
  • Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with operational priorities
  • Driving process and equipment improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful execution
  • Overseeing procurement, contractor performance, and on-site construction activities
  • Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting to support plant operations
  • Ensuring all projects meet EH&S, Quality, and Food Safety standards
  • Reporting on project progress and proactively identifying risks and solutions
