About The Position

As a Project Engineer at Lam, you're not merely managing projects - you're driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lam's products. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll steer the execution of engineering projects, leveraging your technical prowess and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. Your focus on continuous improvement in the development lifecycle will be pivotal as you own project to optimize and enhance Lam's offerings.

Requirements

  • Expected minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or equivalent experience
  • Related experience with CAD, preferably Siemens NX or PTC Creo, from part and assembly modeling, to on-model annotations and (TDP) Technical Data Packages, to part fabrication and inspection
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Skills in Excel is a must but demonstrable capability with QuickBase, SharePoint, Power BI, iPLM, SAP, Matlab, or other programming languages is a plus
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong leadership skills with applicable experience
  • Strong Influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
  • Process knowledge in PLM and ERP required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Other experience that would prove highly valuable: Mechanical Engineering,
  • Creating onmodel annotations of sheet metal and machined metal, weldments, and large assemblies in support of Model Based Definition, modeling in NX 12 or newer, modeling in Creo 5 or newer, 5+ years modeling experience,
  • Product Configuration Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Intel Copy Exactly!, Field Service, Logistics/Spares, managing or collaborating with offshore engineering

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of impacted stakeholders and perform project management to completion, both on time and within budget.
  • Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Work cross functionally to develop problem statements and align requirements and functionality with stakeholders to drive solutions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation and develop new processes where required
  • Create, present and maintain effective training
  • Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in, and deliver results
  • Manage CFTs with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities, often in multiple locations around the world
  • Resolve escalations
  • Assist in the development of the team including skills, capabilities, domain knowledge,technical ownership, and hiring
