About The Position

Project Engineer - Land Development We are looking for an individual with 2-4 years of experience, depending on area of expertise in land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design BL Companies is 100% employee owned, giving us a competitive edge and a unique distinction from most other companies. Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in utility design and/or land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• BSCE
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• EIT Certification is preferred.
• PE preferred

Responsibilities

• Grade sites and design of post-construction stormwater management systems.
• In-Depth use of Civil 3D to prepare alignments, surfaces, cut profiles, and generate contours.
• Assist the Senior Engineer in procuring municipal Land Development and NPDES approvals, including research regulations and attending agency meetings.
• Coordinate with project team across multiple offices on design, permitting and construction components.
• Prepare technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.
• Research permit requirements and local regulations
• Provide support and assist Sr team members.
